Chances are, you know someone with an intellectual disability or have a friend who does. It’s CLOSE to you right now. They are your neighbors and friends, and the challenges they face are profound. But they HAVE solutions, IF good people pull together.
You have the power to brighten someone’s outlook, help them lead a life of significance, and empower them to OWN THE LIGHT of their lives. What if it were actually possible for you to make a powerful difference in the life of someone who needs your help, and be a part of their winning season?

The challenges are profound. But we are systematically targeting four of the most visceral needs with solutions that deliver maximum impact.
We create holistic, inter-dependent residential opportunities that maximize the independence of people with disabilities, with common sense support where they need it. Bungalow-style cottages are set in a self-contained micro-neighborhood, coordinated by trained staff and monitored by technology and security personnel.
We create work environments that maximize the gifts and talents of people with intellectual disabilities AND deliver the flexibility of choice based on their interests. Brand expressions like Addison Social, Addison Outfitters and CreateSpace have a wide range of opportunities, including: customer service, food and beverage, events logistics, office administration, IT support and more.
We address endemic loneliness within the intellectual disability community by empowering purposeful play and greater people connections within the community. We create intentional, integrated spaces and social events that facilitate an active, healthy and richly connected lifestyle. We empower vibrant relationships that enrich the longterm life and wellness of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Entire family systems are regularly and dramatically impacted by the challenges of intellectual disability—marriages crumble, siblings are stressed, extended family shoulder extra weight, finances are often stretched to the breaking point. That's why we work to support the entire family with resources to enrich marriages, scholarships to bring financial relief, parenting tools, sibling support and life planning to move individuals toward the best, most purpose-filled future.

Addie is the inspirational heartbeat behind the Signficant Life Foundation, and the personification of why it exists. She was born in 2004, unexpectedly facing profound medical challenges. After undergoing an emergency surgery to repair her tracchea, she was later diagnosed with Down Syndrome, a genetic condition caused by an extra copy of the twenty-third chromosome, and resulting in physical and intellectual challenges. But Addie is indominable.
Addison is a vibrant, joy-filled young woman. The first to know everyone's name in every room she enters. She is effervescent with laughter and a zeal for life. She brightens the life of every person she encounters. And she has never allowed her challenges to be her conclusions. She instead invests her life to help OTHER people win. And as a result, she has made a difference in thousands of lives.
She is an actress and model, the host of the REALLY ME Podcast on YouTube, and an inspirational speaker at conferences and events. She also holds an ex officio seat on the board of directors of the Significant Life Foundation.
